“Exploring Brain Development from Infancy to Adulthood: Sensory, Motor, and Emotional Processing across Neurotypical and Neurodiverse Populations.”
Date & Time: Tuesday, August 12, 2025, 2:00–3:00 PM (KST)
Format: Hybrid (Zoom link will be provided to pre-registered participants)
Venue: Room 401, Building 12, Seoul National University

About the Speaker:
Prof. Ahn is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Psychology at the University of Birmingham, UK. Her research focuses on developmental neuroscience, particularly investigating brain activity and developmental trajectories in children with and without developmental disorders. She uses EEG, MEG, and OPMs to measure neural responses in children across various stages of development, with an emphasis on sensory, motor, and emotional processing.
This seminar will explore how human brain development unfolds from infancy to adulthood, highlighting differences and commonalities across neurotypical and neurodiverse populations. It will be a valuable opportunity for professors, researchers, and students interested in learning sciences and neuroscience.
The seminar will be held in a hybrid format, and we look forward to your active participation.
