From November 7th to November 9th, 2023, the Institute for Learning Sciences' Center for Innovation of Future Education held an AI & Digital Competency Enhancement Workshop for faculty members of teacher education institutions. The workshop, which lasted for three days, was divided into four sessions, with approximately 100 participants attending both online and offline.

On November 7th (Tuesday), the [Real Classroom Practices of Teachers] session took place. Professor Lim Cheol-il, Director of the Future Education Innovation Center at Seoul National University, introduced the AIEDAP project, and three teachers shared their experiences using AI and digital tools in English, Math, and Information classes.

On November 8th (Wednesday) and November 9th (Thursday), sessions on [Data Analysis & Classroom Application Using Orange3] were conducted. Participants engaged in hands-on practice analyzing, processing, and visualizing numerical and textual data by choosing to attend either the numerical data analysis or text data analysis session.

On November 9th (Thursday), a special lecture on [AI-Integrated Education Practice Cases for Prospective Teacher Education Faculty] was added. In this session, Professor Lee Sang-il from the Department of Geography Education and Professor Cho Jung-hyo from the Department of Physics Education at Seoul National University shared their experiences in operating AI-integrated education lectures at the College of Education.

Throughout the three-day workshop, there was active questioning and sharing of opinions, and the program concluded successfully.
