  • A. Seoul National University's College of Education: Infrastructure of the Center for Innovation of Future Education in Buildings 9 and 10-1, and collaborative spaces (including multi-purpose filming, editing, and meeting space D SPACE, multi-purpose smart classroom I-studio, E-room, Active Learning Classroom (ALC), physical education practice content creation studio, smart experimental practice rooms 1 & 2, VR practice studio, SNU-G studio)
  • B. In the last five years, the center has undertaken 47 research projects (4 ongoing), published 11 books (8 domestic, 3 international), and presented 32 research papers (28 domestic, 5 international).
  • C. Projects include AIEDAP for enhancing teachers' AI and digital competencies, guidelines for educational use of the Metaverse, support project for the 2023 Future Education Center for Teacher Training Institutes, development of teaching and learning models using Google Chromebooks, and numerous other research related to AI and digital integrated education.

Research Topics

The Center for Innovation of Future Education integrates education and technology to enhance the competencies of teachers and students and researches effective educational methods and environments. To achieve this, the center focuses on curriculum development, utilization of digital tools, and the construction of new educational infrastructure.

Educational and Digital Innovation

The center seeks innovative methods that transcend the traditional boundaries of education. Through the development of education curricula centered on AI and digital competencies, the AIEDAP project, and the operation of the Center for Innovation of Future Education, the aim is to elevate the quality of education and bolster the competencies of teachers and students.

Development of Specialized Educational Curricula

Various research initiatives are being conducted to systematically and effectively develop educational curricula for specific professional fields. In collaboration with the International Vaccine Institute, curricula for the vaccine and bio-pharmaceutical sectors are being created. Additionally, the center is exploring innovative educational methods in specialized fields such as online traditional Korean medicine education.

Digital Spaces and Future Infrastructure

In line with the digital age, educational and research infrastructure is being built with a future-oriented perspective. Through the Metaverse, the center aims to pioneer new learning activities that surpass the constraints of physical spaces.
