  • D. Interdisciplinary Research Achievements : The center bases its research on interdisciplinary collaborations among various departments within the College of Education. The projects carried out at the center are divided according to the characteristics of each department, and in relation to AI technologies, they are conducted in collaboration with internal and external experts and institutions. To facilitate this, the center holds regular or irregular meetings of the entire research team. They also conduct various activities, such as roundtable discussions, colloquia, and expert-invited lectures, to take advantage of interdisciplinary research.

Research Topics

With the advancement of AI technology, a significant amount of research and development is taking place in the edtech sector. However, existing technologies have primarily been planned and developed by engineers, often lacking sufficient educational integration and validation. The AI-Based Education Research Center aims to develop technologies and systems that meet the requirements of the educational field through collaboration with the College of Education, AI research institutes, and companies.

Research on AI-based Technologies for Personalized Learning

- Investigation into the balance between traditional classroom education and personalized learning. 

 - Exploring technologies that can automatically adjust and provide content based on each student's learning style, pace, strengths, and weaknesses.

Research on Automated Assessment and Feedback Technologies

 - Development of an automated assessment system that ensures accuracy and fairness, along with an automated feedback system to guide individual learning.

Research on AI Systems Supporting Emotional and Social Learning

  - Investigation into systems that can detect and respond to students' emotional states to optimize their learning experiences. 

  - Research into technologies that support students' socio-emotional learning, enabling them to develop interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
